What is the Blue Peel?
The Obagi Blue Peel is used on those select patients who have been on Berman Beauty MD Skin Care products  for at least 6 weeks and have skin damage so deep that it needs something stronger. Note that while this is a stronger treatment than daily skin products, it is not as aggressive as laser resurfacing.

The Blue Peel is performed in the office with oral sedation and is quite uncomfortable for the few minutes it takes to carry out. The skin afterwards may have a slight blue tinge for several days. Patients should expect to take one week off from work afterwards, since the skin will peel very aggressively during this time. The Blue Peel can provide very significant improvement in the skin, and can be repeated after 3 months. We also offer a single coat blue peel which allows a faster recovery.
