What is the Obagi Blue Peel Treatment?

The Obagi Blue Peel is used on those select patients who have been on Berman Beauty MD Skin Care products  for at least 6 weeks and have skin damage so deep that you need something stronger. Note that while this is a stronger treatment than daily skin products, it is not as aggressive as laser resurfacing. 

The Blue Peel takes about 25 to 30 minutes. Depending on your skin type and the desired results, you will probably require 1 to 4 coats of Obagi Blue Peel solution applied to various areas of skin. Most patients experience a warm to hot sensation which may last as long as 2 to 3 minutes, followed by a stinging sensation, The skin afterwards may have a slight blue tinge for several days. Patients should expect to take one week off from work afterwards, since the skin will peel very aggressively during this time. The Blue Peel can provide very significant improvement in the skin, and can be repeated after 3 months. We also offer a single coat blue peel which allows a faster recovery.

Obagi Blue Peel can be performed on the face, neck, chest, hands, and even the arms and legs.
